a certification trademark refers to a mark that is controlled by an organization that has the ability to supervise a certain commodity or service and used by units or individuals outside the organization to prove the origin, raw materials, manufacturing methods, quality or other specific qualities of the commodity or service. When transferring a certification trademark, it is necessary to provide proof of the transferee's ability to supervise and detect and the rules for the administration of trademark use.

Application materials to be submitted for the transfer of certification trademarks:

1. Application for trademark transfer;

2. qualification documents of the transferor and transferee;

3. Trademark assignment contract;

4. the certificate of the transferee's ability to supervise and detect and the rules for the administration of trademark use;

5. if an agency is entrusted, the power of attorney of the transferor and transferee shall also be provided.

Note:

1. The trademark registrant shall assign the same or similar trademarks registered on the same or similar goods together;

2. After the transfer application is approved, China National Intellectual Property Administration will issue the transferee with the transfer certificate and announce the transfer. The transferee shall enjoy the exclusive right to use the trademark from the date of announcement.
