On the evening of August 21st, I was surprised and shocked to learn that Mr. Chu Ding had passed away on August 2th in a branch directly under the Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee. Teacher Chu, who died at the age of 67, was the founder of "Chu's bone-loosening therapy", with excellent skills and a reputation at home and abroad.
party member, a member of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee, had the privilege of meeting Mr. Chu several times. In the second year of joining the Revolutionary Committee of China, I was rated as an advanced worker of annual proposal and speech, and participated in the 218 annual summary and commendation meeting and the 219 Spring Festival group meeting held by Kaifeng Municipal Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of China. After the summary and commendation ceremony, party member, a revolutionary from various grassroots organizations, began to perform cultural programs. On the stage, songs, dances, poetry readings, cross talks, Peking Opera, chorus, etc. are wonderful, and the stage is happy, peaceful and festive. In the bustling crowd, there was an old gentleman who was short and energetic. He kept looking at the stage with his violin in his hand, sometimes looking at his watch and sometimes fiddling with the violin, which impressed me particularly. After the group worship activity started, we sat in the same private room. Because I was a new member of the branch, party member, the deputy chairman of the branch took the lead in introducing myself. I first learned that this old gentleman with a violin was a famous person in the massage industry in our city-Mr. Chu Ding. He introduced his massage techniques and therapeutic effects humorously, which provoked the whole private room to laugh constantly, and Mr. Chu played a song for everyone to add fun. Although I don't know music, the smooth and pleasant piano music inevitably makes me admire the oldest old man in this branch.
On the occasion of Children's Day on June 1st, 219, the Kaifeng Municipal Committee of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee, together with the trade union of Kaifeng Branch of Zhongyuan Bank, entered the Kaifeng Special Education School to carry out the charity donation activity. This is the second time I have met Mr. Chu Ding. Mr. Chu, who loves public welfare and cares for special children, brought a violin performance to the children.
In September, 219, the Kaifeng Municipal Committee of the Chinese Revolutionary Committee organized a keynote speech entitled "Don't forget the initial intention of cooperation, and continue to advance hand in hand". On behalf of a branch directly under the CPC Central Committee, I gave a speech entitled "Do not forget your initiative mind, Strive for Progress". Some branches party member came to cheer me up, and Teacher Chu Ding was one of them. After the activity, Mr. Chu Ding invited us to visit the Chu Massage Hall opened by him. The simple-living Mr. Chu Ding rode an electric car to take us to the Chu Massage Hall on the first floor of Kaiyuan Hotel. The front desk of several hundred square meters of venues was filled with many honors and certificates at home and abroad. The eloquent Mr. Chu talked about his original techniques and described the scene when his business was booming, and finally let us experience his perfect massage skills.
At the end of July this year, Mr. Chu Ding, who had been out of contact for a long time, sent me some publicity materials of his previous years and entrusted me to sort out a complete material for him. After reading it carefully, I got to know Mr. Chu Ding better. The old man who once loved life, was enthusiastic about public welfare, had a wide range of hobbies, and was simple and low-key. He had long been famous at home and abroad, and he was definitely an elder with both morality and art. After a week's docking and revision, the materials were completed. Teacher Chu replied with the word "very good". As a researcher of literature and history, I proposed to recommend this manuscript to the Literature and History Committee of the CPPCC to participate in the call for papers on "Yellow River Memory" and "Yellow River Culture". He readily agreed and sent me some audio-visual materials and pictures of previous interviews, and I haven't contacted again since. It was the bad news on August 21st that I heard from Teacher Chu Ding again.
Attached is a manuscript that Teacher Chu Ding entrusted me to sort out before his death, as a token of mourning:
"New skills from ancient times" for going to the world-remember Kaifeng, the ancient capital? Inheritance and innovation of "Chu's bone-loosening therapy"
In Kaifeng, an important node city along the Yellow River valley, people have inherited and enjoyed a Chinese medicine green therapy, that is, massage and massage, to prevent and treat diseases and eliminate fatigue by means of claw pinching, grasping the abdomen, slapping, copying, throwing the back and rubbing the spine. This is the result of repeated exploration, innovation and practice by Chinese sons and daughters along the Yellow River basin based on the theory of meridians and acupoints in traditional Chinese medicine.
Since ancient times, Bianjing City has been covered with massage parlors, barbecues, bone-kneading shops and other health and wellness places, most of which have enjoyed a prosperous business and an endless stream of guests. Since the reform and opening-up, massage technique, a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, has gone out of the ancient capital and entered the world after generations of inheritance and innovation by latent scholars. Among them, after more than 3 years of painstaking research and innovation, Chu Ding, the inheritor of Chu's traditional Chinese medicine massage, is unique and has a very good effect. He has repeatedly performed demonstrations at national seminars, and has gone abroad and went to the world as a cultural exchange for many times. At present, it is one of the famous Chinese medicine massage schools in China.
? Concentrate on research? Bring forth the old and bring forth the new
Teacher Chu Ding, the founder of "Chu's bone loosening therapy", was born in 1953 and died in August 22. Born into a family of traditional Chinese medicine, Mr. Chu Ding studied acupuncture and massage techniques under the guidance of his parents at the age of seven, and then went to a junior college for further study. After starting his career, he paid homage to famous doctors and humbly asked for advice. He successively studied acupuncture and moxibustion from Mr. Zang Junqi, a master of traditional Chinese medicine in Kaifeng, and health care from Mr. Zhan Shusheng, a famous health care doctor in Kaifeng. He was also instructed by Mr. Wu Mingqin, a late famous Chinese medicine teacher, many times. In the process of assiduously studying TCM theory and exploring TCM skills, Mr. Chu gradually discovered that there are some misunderstandings in traditional massage techniques, such as cervical spondylosis. As the name implies, cervical spondylosis is called cervical spondylosis, but traditional massage techniques always make a fuss about skin muscles or meridian points, which is very sour and painful, but the force acting on cervical vertebra is very small. Inspired by the educational toy Rubik's Cube, Teacher Chu Ding repeatedly explored innovative skills in repeated practice. He found that the essence of TCM lies in the balance of yin and yang, and how to make the human body achieve this optimal balance effect through various joints and meridians of the body is the key to TCM massage. He gradually stopped sticking to the traditional Chinese medicine massage technique. With the stubborn strength of hard work and unyielding attitude from childhood, after more than 4 years of painstaking exploration, he researched and innovated a set of massage techniques, in which the force is not applied to the cervical vertebra, but the force is not applied to the affected part, which greatly improved the treatment effect and cure rate. After continuous improvement in the later period, this non-drug therapy, that is, green therapy, gradually matured. In 24, the fourth issue of Bipedal and Health Care, the journal of the Ministry of Health, named this massage technique "Chu's bone loosening therapy".
harmony between man and nature? Balance of yin and yang
Chinese medicine pays attention to adapting to the cosmic weather, adjusting human body functions, and achieving the harmonious state of "harmony between man and nature", so does "Chu's bone-loosening therapy". According to the principles of human mechanics and sports mechanics, it adopts the way of combining active motion with passive motion, focusing on spinal-related diseases, and through passive motion such as stretching, twisting, shaking and swinging from multiple angles and in all directions, it can adjust and dredge the large-area meridians and nerves of the human body as a whole, so that all the limbs and joints of the whole body can gradually reach the balance of Yin and Yang in three-dimensional space, so as to enhance the functions of internal organs and finally achieve the purposes of relaxing muscles and activating blood circulation, preventing diseases and treating diseases. At the same time, this massage technique can gradually improve the living environment of human cells, activate regenerative potential cells and achieve the purpose of delaying aging. This technique is sometimes flowing, sometimes stormy, sometimes refreshing, and sometimes thrilling. It also gives people a rare physical and mental enjoyment in the process of treating diseases and preventing diseases. Many national, provincial and municipal media have reported on this set of massage skills of Teacher Chu Ding, and the Taiwan Province media also made a special film about "Chu's bone loosening therapy" for him.
pass on the scriptures and teach the Tao? Writing a book and saying
As the saying goes, "the fragrance of wine is not afraid of the depth of the alley", the effective effect of "Chu's bone-loosening therapy" has been passed down from mouth to mouth in Kaifeng, the ancient capital, and gradually moved towards a broader world. In 1999, Mr. Chu Ding was invited to Beijing, the capital, and taught his unique techniques in the Great Hall of the People Hotel, the Capital Hotel, China Tibetan Medicine Bath Building and other places. In October, 22, at the national seminar on reflexology held in the Great Hall of the People, Mr. Chu Ding was invited to demonstrate this massage technique of traditional Chinese medicine, which caused great sensation and response from Chinese and foreign counterparts, experts and scholars, and journalists. In October, 24, at the national seminar held by China Academy of Social Sciences, he demonstrated again, which was unanimously recognized by the guests. On January 12th, 27, Teacher Chu Ding, the founder of "Chu's Osteoporosis Therapy", submitted an application for trademark registration of "Chu's Osteoporosis Massage" to China Trademark Management Center. Three years later, in 21, the trademark of "Chu's Osteoporosis Massage" was successfully registered. In May 28, at the invitation of Mr. Rong Feng, a well-known entrepreneur, Mr. Chu Ding went to Hejia Hospital in Huaibei City, Anhui Province as a masseur and undertook training and teaching and research work. In 213, under the leadership of Mr Zang Junqi, president of Kaifeng Acupuncture Society, The Complete Book of Chinese Medicine Therapy, co-authored by Mr. Chu Ding and three other Chinese medicine experts, was published. In the book, 1 common diseases were carefully explained, and six commonly used Chinese medicine therapies, such as acupuncture, acupuncturing, massage, cupping, scraping and dietotherapy, were introduced in detail for different diseases, which solved the limitation of starting with a single method and filled massage technique.
going abroad? Going to the world
Chinese medicine culture is both national and global. In order to show the world the profoundness of Chinese massage skills, Mr. Chu Ding has given lectures abroad many times. Every time he goes to a country or region, he gives everything to others. In 22, at the invitation of Kazakh Prime Minister Nurlan, the Ministry of Health sent Mr. Chu Ding to give lectures abroad and treat the Prime Minister. In February 23, at the invitation of Mr. Li Jinsong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hong Kong Seven Star International Group, Mr. Chu Ding went to Hong Kong to treat and massage him for two weeks. In 27, former Kazakh Prime Minister nordland? During Balgimbaev's visit to China, the relevant departments recommended Chu Ding to treat shoulder, waist and knee pain. After the massage, Premier Balgimbaev was very surprised and said, "I have been to many places all over the world. I have a physical problem, so I have to find the best masseur everywhere. After you pressed it for me today, I feel that it is the most unique one among all masseurs, and the effect is also the best one, which allows me to enjoy a kind of enjoyment that I have never enjoyed before. After returning to China, Premier Balgimbaev sent an invitation letter to the Ministry of Health of China, inviting Chu Ding to Kazakhstan for treatment and teaching skills. In March 29, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Mr. Chu Ding went to Askana and Almaty in Kazakhstan to teach skills. At present, this technique has taken root and spread all over the world.
virtue and art? Paying back to the society
The foundation of studying medicine lies in virtue. Teacher Chu Ding, who is both virtuous and artistic, lived abroad all the year round in his early years, but he never forgot his hometown. After receiving the invitation from Kaifeng Pedicure Association more than 1 years ago, he did not hesitate to return to China and opened a Chu massage hall in Kaiyuan Hotel to serve the people of Sangzi. At the same time, Mr. Chu Ding also went deep into rural areas to carry out health and poverty alleviation activities many times, and often went to retired cadres' homes and nursing homes to provide massage services for veteran cadres, anti-Japanese war veterans and widowed elderly people. He said: "I'm from Kaifeng. I want to do my best to serve my fellow citizens in Kaifeng, so that more people can master this massage technique and make some contributions to the people in my hometown!" In 219, "Chuding Massage" was included in the intangible cultural heritage of Kaifeng Demonstration Zone, and its founder, Mr. Chuding, was the representative inheritor of "Chuding Massage". Mr. Chu was applying for intangible cultural heritage and invention patents before his death.
