Delixi Group Co., Ltd. was founded in Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province in 1984. It is a group integrating capital operation, brand operation and industrial operation. Delixi's predecessor was "Yueqing County Qiujing Switch Factory", which was founded in July 1984 by Hu Chengzhong, his brother Hu Chengguo and others. At that time, there were only 3 shareholders and 8 employees. The product was a single thermal relay and the registered trademark was "Leqiu Brand". Hu Chengzhong relies on his "win by quality" business model and flexible mechanism to grasp the market, technology and quality, and stands out in Wenzhou's electrical appliance industry.

Yueqing Qiujing Switch Factory developed rapidly and was divided into Factory One and Factory Two in 1990. Each of them operated independently one year after the transition. While running the second factory, Hu Chengzhong also founded the Yueqing Delixi Electronic Components Factory. In the spring of 1992, he introduced foreign capital to establish the "Sino-foreign joint venture Wenzhou Delixi Electric Co., Ltd."

In May 1994, with the approval of relevant provincial departments, Zhejiang Delixi Group Company was established, becoming the first provincial joint-stock cooperative electrical appliance enterprise group in Zhejiang Province.
