How to apply for registration of a collective trademark
A collective trademark refers to a sign registered in the name of a group, association or other organization and used by members of the organization in business activities to show the membership of users in the organization. Collective trademarks, like ordinary trademarks, must be approved and registered by the Trademark Office if they want to enjoy the exclusive right to use trademarks and be protected by law.

I. General requirements

To apply for the registration of a collective trademark, it shall be declared in the application for trademark registration, and the subject qualification certificate (1) shall be submitted, detailing the names and addresses of the members of the collective organization; (2) The rules governing the use of collective trademarks shall include:

(1) The purpose of using the collective trademark;

(two) the quality of the goods using the collective trademark;

(3) Procedures for using the collective trademark;

(four) the rights and obligations to use the collective trademark;

(five) the responsibility that a member should bear in violation of its use management rules;

(6) the inspection and supervision system of the registrant on the goods using the collective trademark.
