The composition of a skateboard is mainly divided into three parts:
1. Board surface and sandpaper: Modern skateboards are made of seven layers of maple wood and are pressurized. More sturdy and durable, add the pattern on the bottom of the board, stick on the frosted paper, and the board is assembled. Generally, there are raised parts on the head, tail and screw positions of the board. The function of the cocking is mainly to allow us to perform better when doing some jumping movements.
2. Bracket (also called skateboard bridge) and shock-absorbing rubber: This is a more important part of the skateboard. The bridge is made of special aluminum alloy. The skateboard bridge is the core part that connects the deck and the wheel. The middle bottom of the bridge is equipped with a special shock absorber for skateboards. This shock absorber is made of high fiber and silica gel, which protects the loss of the skateboard and plays a balanced buffering role.
3. Pulleys and bearings: The pulleys are made of urethane as the main material, which plays a role in sliding; the bearings help the pulleys slide. The pulleys and bearings multiply each other and are indispensable.
Project History
In the 1860s, California residents invented the first skateboard.
In 1962, skateboard enthusiasts invented the second generation skateboard.
After the 1970s, with the rapid development of science and technology, skateboarding enthusiasts developed polyurethane wheels. These wheels are flexible, wear-resistant and elastic, which greatly promoted skateboarding. New developments in technology, and skateboarding has developed in a social direction.
In the 1970s and 1980s, the United States first established a skateboarding association, the National Skateboarding Association (NSA), and began to organize national skateboarding competitions.
In 1978, at the National Skateboarding Championships, Youth Tower won the championship. So American skateboard manufacturer George Powell used Powell Peralta as the trademark of his skateboard to promote his skateboard and promote the development of skateboarding.
