The Chang'e-3 lunar rover is called "Yutu".
The "Yutu" lunar rover achieved autonomous awakening at 5:09 on November 11, 2014. After safely spending the first lunar night on the moon and withstanding the test of the extremely low temperature environment for 14 Earth days, the "Yutu" lunar rover's comprehensive electronic, measurement and control equipment was gradually powered up. After the battery was charged to a certain value, it was switched on. Switches, measurement and control lines transmit signals to the ground, and scientific researchers send signals from the ground to the moon to set the working status of the lunar rover.
The Chang'e-3 lander entered the 33rd lunar night dormancy period on time on July 28, 2016, once again breaking the international record for the longest working time of a detector on the lunar surface. The rover "Yutu" lunar rover has also stopped working. For the Jade Rabbit, which has a design life of only three months, this is an honorable retirement after overdue service.
