Our district was reviewed by the Organizing Committee of the China Fruit and Vegetable Industry Brand Forum , won the title of "Hometown of Li in China". At the same time, the Tongjing pear orange produced in our district was rated as one of the “Top Ten Famous Oranges in China”.

Our area has a long history of plum cultivation and is blessed with unique natural resources and ecological conditions. It is one of the most suitable ecological areas for plum in China. The existing plum cultivation area in the district is 105,000 acres, mainly distributed in Tongjing, Dasheng, Luoqi, Xinglong and other towns. The main varieties are "Waizui Plum". This variety has large fruits, crisp and tender flesh, sweet and sour taste, high quality, good commerciality, extensive management, and high economic benefits for fruit farmers. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, our district will develop 50,000 acres of plums, eventually forming the country's largest plum production base with an annual plum production area of ??150,000 acres and an output of 200,000 tons.

"Eagle-billed Plum", commonly known as "Crooked-billed Plum", is a bud mutation variety selected from Jiang'an plums by the technical staff of the fruit economic station. Due to its large fruit size, tender meat, sweet and rich flavor, and high price, the wholesale price at the place of origin was as high as 6 yuan/kg in 2007, and the product was in short supply. Due to its high economic value, the planting area has been rapidly expanded. So far, the planting area of ??"Eagle's Plum" in our district has reached 2,000 acres, and it has begun to take shape. During the season when the "Eagle-billed Plum" flowers are in bloom, you can see the snow-white scenery along both sides of the highway from Gaozui to Long'an, as if you are in a world of ice and snow.

Yubei District currently has 66,000 acres of crooked-mouthed plum trees with an output of 25,000 tons, mainly distributed in Tongjing, Dasheng, Luoqi, Xinglong and other towns. Yubei Waizui Plum is a new plum variety selected and bred by Yubei District Agricultural Committee technical staff for many years. It passed the variety identification by the Chongqing Crop Variety Approval Committee in January 2010. This variety has the characteristics of large fruit, crisp and tender flesh, sweet and sour taste, high quality, good commerciality, extensive management, and high economic benefits for fruit farmers. At present, Yubei District has registered trademarks such as "Crooked Plum" and "Eagle-billed Plum". In 2010, it was awarded the "Hometown of Chinese Plums". In 2011, the Crooked Plum produced by Huaxing Forestry Development Co., Ltd. was certified as an organic agricultural product. Over the years, Yubei Waizui Plum has occupied most of the local market in Chongqing with its excellent quality and good market image, and its products are sold both inside and outside the city. Especially this year, the district government set up a stage for the Plum Blossom Festival and promoted the Zhubajie website selection LOGE. At the same time, it renovated roads and improved the park's roads and other infrastructure, so that citizens can gradually know and understand Waizui plums, thereby bringing tourists like them during the fruit-picking period. Weaving, production and sales are booming, the wholesale price at the origin has risen to 6.0-15.0 yuan/kg, and the picking price in the park is 20-40 yuan/kg. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, Yubei District will also develop 20,000 acres of plums, eventually forming the country's largest plum production base with a base of 100,000 acres and an annual output of 150,000 tons of plums.
