The state administration for industry and commerce trademark office of the People's Republic of China

The Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, affiliated to the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, also known as the "State Trademark Office", is the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People's Republic of China.

The National Trademark Office is responsible for the registration and management of trademarks across the country. It is responsible for the registration of commodity trademarks, service marks, collective trademarks, certification marks and other trademarks, and handles trademark objection adjudication and the change, transfer and renewal of registered trademarks. To guide, coordinate and organize local industrial and commercial administrative agencies to investigate and deal with cases of trademark infringement and counterfeiting, identify and protect well-known trademarks in accordance with the law, supervise and manage trademark agencies, and study and formulate rules and regulations for trademark registration and management. Measures and methods, organize the specific implementation of international trademark treaties and agreements in China and undertake work related to international exchanges and cooperation on trademarks.
