(1) Those who complete EU trademark registration during the transition period will obtain an EU trademark certificate. After the transition period, an equally valid British trademark will be automatically created by the British Trademark Office.

(2) If the EU trademark registration has not been completed during the transition period, the applicant can submit an application for conversion to a British trademark to the UK Intellectual Property Office before September 30, 2021. The application time will be the same as the EU trademark The application time remains the same and additional fees apply.
