Hu Kaiwen (1742), named Zhuchen, was the founder of "Hu Kaiwen" ink industry, one of the four Huizhou ink guests in Qing Dynasty, and a native of Shangzhuang Village. When I was a teenager, I went to Wangqimao Modian in Xiuning County as an apprentice. I was honest and hardworking, and I was good at store affairs. I was highly valued by my boss and was promoted as a salesman. He worked hard in running docks and commercial ports, saved money for starting a business, and later married Wang Qimao's only daughter. In the thirty years of Qianlong (1765), Wang Qimao Ink Shop was the owner. Eight children were born, the eldest son was young, and the third, sixth and seventh children were Chinese students. Do more good deeds in the village, and build a stone road from Guanlan Pavilion in Shangzhuang Village to Yanglinqiao and a half-ridge pavilion in Yuling.
"Hu Kaiwen" has a history of more than 2 years since it was created by Hu Tianzhu, a native of Jixi, in the 47th year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (AD 1782). In 191, Hu's elaborate "Cang Pei Shi" brand and "Earth Ink" were exhibited at the Panama World Expo and won a gold medal. The predecessor of Jixi Hu Kaiwen Huimo Factory, namely "Shoushou Hu Kaiwen Old Shop", is composed of Hu Kaiwen Mozhuang and workshops of various brands in Jixi. In 1998, after the merger of the county painting and calligraphy oil fume material factory and the county Hu Kaiwen Huimo factory, there was an integrated system from cigarette refining to finished ink making. The whole factory has more than ten production processes, such as cigarette refining, ink making, mold carving, ink drying, polishing and gold tracing, and a well-equipped lampblack material and Mo Ding Physical and Chemical Testing Center. High-grade oil fume (that is, the best raw material for high-grade ink and high-grade ink) uses tung oil, turpentine and precious medicinal materials above 6 meters above sea level as raw materials (no chemical components are harmful to human body). The traditional smoke refining technology was adopted, and the essence of Hu Kaiwen's traditional "lamp refining" technology was inherited and carried forward. Combined with the latest technology, the quality of lampblack reached the highest level in history. At the same time, it is a professional cigarette smelting manufacturer in China. Our factory has more than 1 varieties of precious ink patterns created by famous artists since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The products were registered by the State Trademark Office as "Cang Pei Shi" and "Hu Shi", and won the national gold medal for quality products from 1983 to 1987. Hu's series products are made of 16 kinds of precious medicinal materials, such as pure oil fume and natural musk, with strict selection of materials, exquisite workmanship and exquisite technology. They have excellent national tradition and unique artistic style, and are indispensable arts and crafts for painting and calligraphy, with the characteristics of dark color, lasting for a long time, falling off paper like paint, moistening and shining, hiding for a long time, cracking and drying. In 1998, the products of pure oil smoke Hu series "Hu's oil smoke ink", "Hu Kaiwen Baomo", "Hu Kaiwen calligraphy and painting ink" and "China calligraphy and painting ink" were developed, which made Huizhou ink reach the highest level in history and have certain collection value, artistic value and practical value.

It is an ancient building with a "connecting building" style and its collection is very rich. The exhibition hall is equipped with six large glass cabinets against the wall and a large sloping glass table in the middle. Replicas of various famous inks created by Hu Kaiwen's ancestors are displayed respectively, such as Li Dragon Ball, Gu Yu Mi, Qianqiuguang, Babao Medicine Ink, Longxiang Phoenix Dance, Kong Shengxiang, Milo, Tian Nv Sa Hua, Ma Gu Niangniang, Ten Immortals, Big and Small Scarabs, Golden Cicada, Mo Bao Pot, Sixty-four Scenes of Imperial Garden, Thirty-six Peaks of Huangshan Mountain, Poems of West Lake, Cotton Map, etc. In addition, a rare complete collection of Mo Fu, which is an orphan in Anhui Province, is the imperial ink spectrum of the four ink makers in the Qing Dynasty and has been put into the museum online.
Hu Kaiwen's former residence is located in the east edge of Zhuangcun Village. It is the first Chinese-Western composite house built with cement and steel bars in Jixi. Its structure and decoration are extremely harmonious. At that time, the highway was not opened. It was really a difficult thing to transport cement and steel bars from Shanghai to the deep mountainous area by artificial animal power. The former residence is a three-bay, the gate faces east, the forehead is decorated with brick carving patterns, and there is a plaque above. The top is pointed, and the bottom is a hollow circle, which means zero assault, piercing the sky. Although the square house is dilapidated, it is especially the imprint of the prosperity of that year.
Hu Kaiwen Memorial Hall was founded by 82-year-old Hu Enpatent, the grandson of the seventh eldest son of Wen. The six cursive characters of "Hu Kaiwen Memorial Hall" were personally signed by Shen Peng, chairman of China Book Association, on behalf of Comrade Hu Jintao. The collection is extremely rich, including the famous ink created by Hu Kaiwen's ancestors, such as Lilongzhu, Guyumi, Qianqiuguang, Longxiang Phoenix Dance, Sixty-four Royal Garden Scenery, Huangshan 36 Peak Garden, Ancient Lake Scenery Poetry Garden, Cotton Garden, Ten Immortals, Twelve Genus Poetry Garden, "Earth Ink", which won the gold medal of Panamanian National Treasure Association, and its certificates and medal reproduction photos. In addition, a copy line of Mo Shu, a rare complete collection of Anhui calendar (that is, the imperial ink spectrum of the four ink makers in the Qing Dynasty), was put into the library, and the relevant total scores of Hui Mo Zhi, Huizhou Zhi, county records and Hu Shi Genealogy of Ming Jing were also copied and displayed.
