Among them, a thief in Shenyang actually used a bicycle key to pry open more than 100 bicycle locks; A thief in Hefei actually opened more than 20 dormitory doors in the same building with a key to the dormitory door of a university. Why is it common to open multiple locks with one key? In this regard, the author conducted a special interview.
Cause analysis 1
The compression cost is too little and the mutual opening rate is high.
A manager of a lock company in Beijing, who asked not to be named, told me that generally speaking, padlocks and spherical locks are easier to open multiple locks with one key. The fundamental reason is that manufacturers unilaterally reduce the cost of locks, leading to quality problems. Under normal circumstances, the mutual opening rate of locks should be at a very low level. In regular manufacturers, there are thousands or even tens of thousands of marble (lock core) matching watches, and the arrangement and combination are different. Therefore, large lock factories have regular production.
