How to deal with Amazon products being sold by others

1. Test buy (test purchase) complaint

Sellers who do not have a brand or whose brand is not within the scope of trademark registration can use this method. Prove that the two products are different, file a complaint with Amazon, and request that the link to the seller be removed.

Method: Find a reliable buyer or friend to help you buy the product from the seller. If you don’t have a local friend in the United States, you can also find an evaluation agency to help you buy it. After purchasing, you can receive the order information and buy it. After receiving the goods, take pictures of the outer packaging and product pictures. If the products are different, they will look different if you take random photos. For example, if the products and packaging are exactly the same, be careful to change the angle when taking photos to intentionally create different visual effects, or make the product look dirty and old. After gathering this information, I started to complain to Amazon.

2. Complain about infringement as the brand owner (the brand has been registered in the target market, and the product being sold is within the scope of registered category protection) ( Zero cost)

Additional Information: Simply state clearly that you are the trademark holder. The other party does not have the right to use the trademark but is selling it to you. In order to protect the reputation of the brand, please ask Amazon to remove the copycat.

3. For new stores or sellers with little store feedback

B. For FBA follow-up sales: find buyers to continuously buy the other party’s products and return them, and contact Amazon to complain about fake products.
