Hello, you can add a new category, but it depends on the scope of the trademark. The review time for adding Tmall category is divided into brand evaluation (if any) and qualification review. The review time of brand evaluation is 15 working days and the review time of qualification is 5 working days. You can check the application progress in the Business Center-Store Management-Brand and Category Management-My Brand.

Note that not all the new first-level categories of Tmall online stores can pass the audit.

(1). If the category can be checked, it belongs to the scope of investment promotion. Click "Next" directly to apply.

(2) If the category is displayed, and "Category to be evaluated" is displayed after checking, then your brand needs to be evaluated by Tmall first, and its qualification will be reviewed only after the evaluation is passed. If the brand evaluation fails, the addition fails.

(3) If the category to be added is not displayed, it means that there is no investment attraction, or the franchise stores have cross-categories, so it is impossible to choose.
