What is the process of trademark sale, and what are the specific forms of sale?

Usually, the process of selling a trademark includes the following steps:

1. Find a trademark buyer: sell it through online auction or other channels.

2. Notary Office Notarization: After the buyer is determined, go to the notary office to notarize the trademark transfer according to the corresponding needs.

3. Prepare materials and submit them to the Trademark Office for transfer procedures:

(1) A trademark agency power of attorney signed or sealed by the trademark assignee (required when handling through an agency);

(2) an application for trademark transfer signed or sealed by the trademark transferor and transferee;

(3) A copy of the business license (legal representative)/ID card (natural person) of the trademark assignee and the registration certificate of individual industrial and commercial households;

(4) a copy of the business license (legal person)/identity card (natural person) of the trademark transferor;

(5) Copy of trademark registration certificate/acceptance notice;

(6) a trademark transfer agreement signed or sealed by the transferor and the transferee.

4. Waiting for the acceptance to be completed

(1) The Trademark Office will issue the Certificate of Approval to Transfer the Registered Trademark within 15 days after receiving the application for transfer.

(2) You can receive the Certificate of Approved Transfer of a Registered Trademark within three to four months from the date of establishment of the application, which should be used together with the original Trademark Registration Certificate.

(3) The date marked on the Certificate of Approval of Transfer of Registered Trademarks is the effective date of transfer registration.
