Wuchang Fish is synonymous with Ezhou City, and "Ezhou Wuchang Fish" is the word mark and graphic trademark of Wuchang Fish Association approved by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. At the end of 2009, after more than three months of fierce competition, "Ezhou Wuchang Fish" of Ezhou Wuchang Fish Association stood out in the competition of more than 500 participating trademarks in the country, and won one of the "2009 Consumer's Favorite Green Trademark" 100 trademarks in the (third) China Trademark Festival, and won the "Green Crystal Cup" trophy. At the same time, in the selection of the most competitive trademarks in * * * and China in the past 60 years, "Ezhou Wuchang Fish" word mark and its graphic trademark were also rated as "the most competitive geographical indication trademarks", which is another honor for Ezhou Wuchang Fish after obtaining the certificate of origin of China and the top ten famous agricultural products in Hubei.

In 2005, the municipal government decided to set up Wuchang Fish Association as a carrier to re-integrate Wuchang Fish brand, and allocated special funds for "Ezhou Wuchang Fish" to declare the certificate of origin trademark. After nearly five years of unremitting efforts, Wuchang Fish Association has become a leader among the associations and societies in our city, and set up a banner for the integration of Wuchang Fish brand. "Ezhou Wuchang Fish" has become a member of China 25 1 Certificate of Origin, and it is also the only certificate of origin trademark obtained by aquaculture in China. From June 5438 to February 2007, "Ezhou Wuchang Fish" was awarded the title of "Top Ten Famous Agricultural Products in Hubei" by the provincial government.
