In the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934), the original seed production department was expanded. At that time, Dafu Silkworm Seed Farm was the "leading" enterprise of silkworm seed industry in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. In 25 years of the Republic of China, Song Chucai invested in the "Second Dafu Farm" in the East Street of Hebei Province. At present, two standardized silkworm houses have been built, both of which are one floor underground, two and a half floors above ground and two other auxiliary facilities, with a total construction area of 5346 square meters. All the buildings are connected by cloisters, winding and winding, among which the small courtyards are patchwork, deep and elegant, with the architectural style and characteristics of the times of Jiangnan water town. While repairing the destroyed houses, silkworm rooms, cluster rooms, underground mulberry storage rooms, mechanical cold storage rooms and more than 100 auxiliary rooms have been built one after another, which has increased heating equipment and has the ability to accelerate incubation. 1956 since the public-private partnership began, the silkworm egg farm in Li Shuang, Ting Yun was merged into Dafu, renamed as "public-private partnership Dafu silkworm egg farm" and later renamed as "state-owned Jiangyin silkworm egg farm". At this time, the construction area of silkworm egg farm has reached 12000 square meters. By the 1980s, the average annual output of silkworm eggs was more than 57,000. During 1995, the highest annual output of silkworm eggs reached168,000, which made an indelible contribution to the development and prosperity of China's silk industry.
