There are always three treasures in Sanshui People's Day: "soup, smelly fart vinegar and herbal tea". Although it sounds strange, the origin of these three treasures is closely related to the local climatic conditions, geographical environment and eating habits in Sanshui.
Stinky fart vinegar is a famous "longevity food" in Sanshui, with a history of more than 2,000 years. In Sanshui, rice vinegar used to make stinky fart vinegar generally undergoes natural fermentation for about 90 days, with peculiar taste and strong vinegar fragrance. When eating, fresh chicken, pig's hands, soybeans, ginger, sweet potatoes, chicken feet and plum vegetables are often chosen as side dishes.
