Is 4 square meters of kitchen wire enough?
Four meters is enough for the kitchen wire. It is recommended to use 2.5 square meters of wires for sockets, preferably not more than 4 square meters. If it is a kitchen lamp or a switch with low power consumption, you can choose a line with a square of 1.5. And a 4-square wire can be used as a bus, and then each socket in the kitchen is connected with a 2.5-square wire.
What should I look at when buying wires?
1, look at the packaging
See if there is a complete certificate in the package. The certificate should include complete information such as specifications, implementation scale, rated voltage, length, date, factory name and address. See if there is CCC and production license number of national compulsory product certification in China; See if there is a quality system certificate; See if the certificate is standard; See if the wires are printed with trademarks, specifications, voltages, etc.
2, check the wire size
In the relevant standards, the error of wire length shall not exceed 2%, and the diameter of section shall not exceed 0.02%. However, there are a lot of phenomena in the market, such as short length and fake cross-section.
3. Look at the color of copper
Qualified copper core wire copper core should be purple, shiny and soft to the touch. But the fake copper core is purple, dark, black, yellow or white.
4. Look at insulating rubber
The insulation layer of the fake wire looks thick, but most of it is made of recycled plastic. If you squeeze a little hard, the extrusion position will turn white and powder will fall off.
5. Look at the weight of the wire
High quality welding wire is usually within the specified weight range. For example, a common plastic insulated single-stranded copper conductor with a cross-sectional area of 1.5mm2 weighs 1.8 ~ 1.9kg per 100m.
