It may be useful to you:
The following only introduces some methods of identifying external content. Although this cannot 100% achieve the purpose of resisting counterfeiting, I think it is still useful to everyone. Helpful:
1: The back pockets of traditional Levi’s jeans have swallow-shaped lines.
2: There are two Levis on the side flags of the back pocket, one positive and one negative, and the e is lowercase (some early ones were uppercase).
3: Copper nails in pockets, etc. should have the L.S&C.O logo.
4: For the zippered version, there should be the word Levis on the zipper.
5: For the button version, the buttons and large buttons should have the word LEVIS on them.
6: There should be no less water mark on the inside of the pants. Some parts of the country say "Made in USA", but this does not mean that the pants are made in the United States. If someone sells them in bulk, they say they are American. Then there is a problem.
7: There should also be L.S&C.O on the back of the copper binding on pockets and other places, which is the side inside the pants.
8: Generally, the edges of the side flags sold domestically are round, but those that are really exported or made in the United States have some processing on the side flags and are pressed flat.
9: Generally speaking, it is impossible for all Levi's products to be produced by one factory. This means that Levi's processing factories in mainland China cannot produce both pants, shirts, tops and down jackets.
Most imitations tend to overlook one or two of them, and generally speaking, genuine Levi’s products will not come out in large quantities at one time. If someone has hundreds of them and the tags are complete, then The problem is serious. Go to more specialty stores to understand the relationship between model and pants type, or go to the official Levis website, which will be helpful to prevent you from being scammed.
A friend sent it to me. I think it is necessary to post it for everyone to study and make progress together.
The following is just a summary of my experience in recent years. It is only for reference by fans. Please point out any shortcomings.
1. GS zippers have No. 7 zippers. This zipper is only available in YKK factories in Japan. Small factories in China cannot make No. 7 zippers. Therefore, anti-cargo manufacturers in China can only Use size 8 zippers instead. Attentive friends will find that if you look closely, there will be an obvious number 7 on the back of the GS training head. Of course, not all are size 7, such as some sweatshirts, pants, etc. For example, Adidas uses 4T and 5T, while GS mostly uses 5N (T-shirts and sweaters) or S 4YG (pants). Although the styles are different, the zippers are basically the same. Leather jacket: generally No. 7, denim top No. 7, cotton coat No. 7, zipper T-shirt 5N, pants S 4YG. There are also individual styles that are different, such as 61006 and this year’s plaid coat, which has an A on the back. Specific distinction: YKK’s genuine zipper rack is triangular, while the fake one is flat. The letters behind the zipper puller are clear, and like the clothes, they also have numbers, and No. 7 is a Japanese YKK product. There is only one in the world, and it is exclusive to GS. This is the most effective identification method. China’s fakes generally use No. 8. If you don’t believe it, take a look. (I haven’t tried women’s clothing before, so I don’t dare to take off MM’s pants or clothes casually)
2. The letters on the outer buttons are clear and flat, while the inner buttons are slightly thicker. It is actually difficult to distinguish them. After all, they are fake. There are too many goods, but in view of the market situation in the industry, large and good quality manufacturers will only make goods if they need 10,000 buttons. Therefore, counterfeiters can only use some inferior goods or goods from small factories instead, so it is not difficult to see.
3. Embroidery. I have seen some fakes with embroidery turned into printing. There are many on TAOBAO. You will find that they are printed, haha.
4. Even for GS models produced in China, the fabrics are imported from the Netherlands. Compared with some of the same styles abroad, the fabrics on that day are inferior, but the fabrics used for real DENIM RAW and fakes are The density, grams and manufacturing process are very different. If you buy a fake, you will be very depressed to find out how good my washing effect is.
5. The GS label is usually 2, one green and one white. There are three DENIM RAWs, one green and gray and two white. Beautifully printed. There is a serial number on the pewter.
CHOPPER JKT (series) AGW is the item number, such as: 41049, which probably means 04 styles. 1 is the jacket and 049 is the style number. There is no difference between men and women. COL is the color, usually 976 is black, 111 is off-white, and 039 is pure white (it seems to be an international standard). I don’t need to say the SIZE below. The white label has Chinese instructions printed on it, including safety technical standards: A or B. National product technical standard GB/T or FZ. DENIM RAW pants or clothes will have an additional washing and dyeing warning. Some styles include plastic shields or beautifully printed small objects. Some styles, especially handmade ones, will have cloth strips and stickers printed on them.
6. The labels inside the clothes are relatively exquisite. There are washing instructions in Chinese and English on the front and back. The dark label next to it indicates the clothing code number: 175/72A W29 L32, etc. W is the number, L is the length. 175 is also the number, and 72A is the hip size. Some models have a large white printed LOGO on the back. The fabric is yellow-white and has a very old feel. The fakes are pure white, and some are even very XX.
7. About fakes. There are generally two versions of fakes. One is made in Zhejiang, which is extremely fake, with cut corners, rough workmanship, and fake fabrics. There is even no such version at all! A fake product launched this winter turned out to be a Levi’s style! You can search it on TAOBAO, haha. One is Guangdong products. The handmade materials and manufacturing techniques of these products are good, but the dressings (buttons, zippers and wash labels) are really not flattering. How many cents does a small button cost? A zipper puller is about 2 cents. There are also pattern making fees and so on. Each button starts at 10,000, so you can imagine. . . . . As a result, counterfeiters usually get over it. In fact, to put it bluntly, if you are really willing to spend such a large cost, it is probably difficult to tell the difference.
8. Regarding foreign trade, many people claim to have a very good relationship with the factory, and they can get follow-up orders or tail orders. It is all nonsense. A brand manufacturer will only choose one factory to make its products. For example, GS only has one factory in China. Factory management is very strict. It is impossible to take clothes out casually. Everyone on the assembly line will keep count. It is even more stringent when it comes to making finished products. Of course, when the factory is tight, it is possible to ask other factories to help make it, but if it only makes 1,000 pieces of clothing, the factory will only prepare 1,001 pieces of materials! Don’t even think about getting more! If you are lucky enough to get one, it can only be a substandard product that has not been washed. The so-called foreign trade clothing is actually just factory samples for foreign businessmen to order. Of course, there are also some unscrupulous manufacturers who modify the styles of some famous brands to make samples, such as the famous AK and Guangzhou's A+K. These are products that are flooding Singapore! Foreigners can also place orders for fake goods, but there are still only a few people who dare to do so, such as those small factories.
9. Regarding why clothes bought from specialty stores sometimes feel very rough. The characteristic of GS is that it is thick and uses local methods to make denim pants. If the color becomes lighter and more threads appear the more you wash it, it’s not surprising, it’s special, don’t we just like this.
10. Regarding styles, GS’s Dutch head office will hold fashion conferences two quarters in advance, allowing agents from various countries to choose styles. After paying the design fee, they can produce them. Of course, it may not be exclusive production. . After the Chinese general agent makes the design drawings into sample clothes, he will hold an ordering meeting in China, and then the agents in each province will select styles and place orders at the ordering meeting. The factory then produces and ships the goods on time. For example, spring and summer clothes are now produced. Foreigners will buy models that are not available abroad. Likewise, some of our styles must be imported. But it doesn’t seem to be many, because as I just said, it doesn’t seem to be an exclusive monopoly on any one model. If you have friends in specialty stores, you should know that you have a small manual with all the styles of the year. It is the original design drawing, not a picture album.
11. About price. Dutch companies account for about 20%, after all, they depend on fabric design fees and so on. Domestic agents are about 30%, operating costs, manufacturing costs, etc. Provincial agents will ultimately sell based on the price tag. Generally, provincial agents offer 50% off or 55% off. Then the rest is the operating cost, including venue, business tax, labor expenses and various other expenses. In fact, you can't make a lot of money.
Continue to add some information!
1. Regarding foreign monopoly issues.
Like Hong Kong, Vietnam and other regions, foreign countries belong to free trade zones, so sometimes we cannot find franchise stores like those in China, but generally large shopping malls will have GS counters. If you G friends want to buy abroad, But when you can't find a specialty store, try to go to a large shopping mall to buy. After all, it's better to be careful to prevent the overflow of goods.
2. Regarding styles, Jade Clothing has been a partner of GS for many years. Therefore, many foreign clothes are made of Jade and then exported. Some styles that are available in China are definitely available abroad, and some styles that are available abroad may not be available in China, so G friends don’t have to be surprised sometimes. As for the launch time, it is true that the climate of each continent is different, so I can’t tell the specifics.
3. Regarding zippers, zippers are definitely No. 7, only some are not, but they are definitely YKK products. The specific identification method is still the same as before.
4. There is a problem with the care label of GS sold abroad. There is only one size label under the trademark on the back, such as S M L, etc. There will be an extra care label in the seam of the clothes next to it than the domestic styles. It says: Made in China and made with CA ingredients. The white wash water mark is white silk, and the front is: Made in China Clothing Series RE104506 CA41169 Manufacturing Ingredients GS Trademark. If it is a jacket, there will be some more manufacturer information under the GS trademark, but not for T-shirts. Washing instructions are on the back of the white wash water label.
5. Price and quality. Foreign prices are definitely more expensive than domestic ones, or even half as expensive. Of course, not all of them are made in China. There are also ones produced in Italy and other countries. They feel a little better than domestic fabrics, but it is basically impossible to tell. The quality of the fabric is related to the batch number of the fabric. As for the production process, they are all the same. If there are foreign friends who like the style but think it is too expensive, they can ask domestic friends to help them buy it. If it is not convenient for them to find me, it is usually 35% off - 75% off. Pay for postage yourself.
6. Regarding the products on EBAY and TAOBAO, it is recommended that G friends choose carefully. Only individual purchasers can buy genuine products, and 90% of them are fakes and imitations. Once again, I emphasize that GS does not chase the last order. Unless foreigners use the style to produce fakes. Haha, LV bags are carried all over the streets in China, why don’t foreigners carry them? hehe.
7. Regarding hangtags, the GS hangtag sold abroad only has a green one. No excess white.
I’m tired of writing, but it seems I haven’t written anything yet. Let’s try another day. I wish you all a happy life and work!
