How to print labels

Place the trademark cloth cover on the printing machine and print it with ink. Printing methods must be considered based on different materials. The printing methods include:

1. Wet Ink Printing (Wet Ink Printing)

Letter Press and Sealing: as Lettering generally includes zinc plates, aluminum plates, resin plates, etc. The machines used in letterpress printing can be divided into offset and rotary press types according to the printing method. The round plate rotary press type now adopts flexographic relief printing (nylon plate or offset plate). The plate making method is simple. Film can be used to expose on the printing plate. After washing, embossed prints will appear on the plate. Because the plate body is soft, it can be rolled On the round cylinder, it is quick and convenient.

Off-set printing: There are sheet printing (Sheet) and rotary printing (Rotary Flexo). Rotary Flexo can

be used in letterpress and flat printing, but it is mainly used in flat printing. Commonly known as offset printing, its printing plate is not printed directly on the paper, but is printed on the offset plate first, so the offset printing method is also called the indirect printing method. Offset printing machines are mostly rotary machines. Their plate cylinders turn the printing plate into a curved surface. In addition, due to different conveying methods of printed sheets, they can be divided into two types: sheet conveying and roll conveying. The printing speed of the latter is two times higher than that of the former. three times.

Screen Printing: The ink layer is thicker and the color is bright, but the speed is slow.

Note: The printing method of NT in Asia is mainly letterpress wet printing.

2. Hot Stamping:

The plates are all relief plates, and the plates are heated to about 200°C and printed through the color film. The desktop hot stamping machine was invented by Americans. It is a dry ink type (Dri-ink is the registered trademark). It coats wet ink on the polyester film to become hot stamping. foil). During the printing process, heat is used to melt the ink and then pressure is used to transfer the ink to the label cloth.

3. Electronic Printing (Electronic Printing)

Thermal-Transfer: trademark cloth, TT Printer, TTR (Thermal Transfer Ribbon, also known as ribbon)

Ink Jet: small market share, non-mainstream. Although its speed is faster than thermal transfer, the color and tightness are worse than thermal transfer.

Note: PS is mainly Wet Ink, with less hot stamping and transfer printing (because the color film is more difficult to combine with PS, but easier to combine with NT and PT).

Slitting and rolling method:

NT---Usually cut into strips with a cold knife

PS---Use hot cutting (commonly known as burning edges) otherwise it will There are burrs

PT---cold knife slitting

CN, TC---cold knife slitting

Washing Test:

Household: 60℃, 80℃

Industrial:

a. Stone Wash---Must be PT/Hot Stamping, NT and PS are not acceptable. Stone washing is generally used for denim clothes.

b. Garment-dye Resistance---PT/Hot Stamping is better, PS is OK, but NT is not. A pattern is cut into 1,000 pieces and then dyed in 10 colors. At this time, the cloth label has been sewn on the clothes and dyed together, so it must be able to withstand dyeing.
