Leopard is divided into three geographical subspecies in China: 1, South China subspecies P. p. fusca (South China Leopard): found in Tibet, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Qinghai, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, southwestern Shaanxi, Henan, Anhui and other provinces; 2. North China subspecies P.P. Fontanieri: found in Hebei, Shanxi and northwestern Shaanxi; 3. Oriental leopard (Northeast Leopard): It was once found in Daxinganling and Xiaoxing 'anling of Heilongjiang Province and the eastern mountainous area of Jilin Province, and extended eastward to the coastal border areas of Russia and northern Korea.
