In the brand hall on the first floor, the overall exhibition layout level of exhibitors has been further improved than in previous years. The entire hall is bright, transparent and gorgeous. Guangdong's Mingrui wedding dress, Shanghai Xieda's "SHARTEX", Shanghai Silk's "LILY", Shenzhen's "Fu Anna", etc. are the more prominent brands in the textile and clothing pavilion of this trade fair and are sought after by merchants.

In addition, the "Movi" fabric launched by Jiangsu Bauhinia Textile Technology Co., Ltd., the bamboo fiber series products of Hunan Huasheng, and the environmentally friendly and anti-wrinkle cotton fabric shirts of Guangzhou Textile Import and Export Group Co., Ltd. have attracted many inquiries from merchants and have become New growth points for transactions. As of October 20, among the US$4.508 billion in transactions at the Textile and Clothing Hall, state-owned enterprises accounted for US$1.941 billion in transactions based on the nature of the enterprise. , accounting for 43.06% of the total turnover, and its share decreased compared with the previous session, but it is still the main force in my country's textile exports; foreign-invested enterprises' turnover was US$482 million, accounting for 10.69%; collective enterprises' turnover was US$150 million, accounting for 332% %; private enterprises continued the development momentum of the previous session, with a turnover of US$1.056 billion, accounting for 23.44%, becoming a new force in my country's textile and apparel exports; other enterprises' transactions were US$878 million, accounting for 19.49%.

5. Difficulties in textile and apparel exports this year

The United States is the main market for China's textile exports. The textile trade negotiations with the United States have not yet reached an agreement, which has become the most important impact on this Canton Fair. factor. According to statistics from the China Federation of Trade Unions, as of October, the U.S. government has accepted 23 applications for restrictions on Chinese textiles and has implemented quantitative restrictions on 10 of the products. On October 11, the U.S. industry once again submitted an application to its government for restrictions on Chinese cotton towel products. The outlook for the U.S. market is unclear. Whether exports to the U.S. will still see thousands of troops squeezing the single-plank bridge next year has become the most worrying issue for companies. Secondly, companies are generally worried that the RMB will continue to appreciate, and the originally meager profit margins will be further squeezed, and some companies will even face a crisis of survival; in addition, the price of chemical fiber raw materials remains high, the price of cotton is gradually rising, and coal, electricity, oil, Transportation supply continues to be tight, greatly increasing corporate costs. Foreign businessmen participating in this trade fair also reported that the prices of fabrics and some home textiles such as towels are higher than before. The above factors make companies generally not optimistic about the export situation in the second half of this year, and it is expected that the growth rate of national textile and apparel exports will also decline.

Faced with various unfavorable factors and the frequent occurrence of trade frictions, only by adjusting product structure, increasing added value, and building one's own brand can we overcome difficulties and continue to develop. This has become the case for most exhibitors Strong sense of sex.

It is understood that many companies are working hard to build their own brands while doing OEM production, and even hire designers from abroad at high salaries. In fact, some far-sighted companies have already started building their brands and have shown results. Shanghai Silk's clothing brand "LILY", after years of hard work, finally opened the door to the fashion capital Paris and entered the sales network of mid-to-high-end department stores and specialty stores in France; Zhuhai Chenglu Import and Export Co., Ltd. was founded in 1998 A private enterprise established. Four years ago, the enterprise established a brand-building strategy. Due to quota restrictions, the enterprise positioned its market in markets such as the Middle East and Russia, specializing in men's casual clothing. The company has a R&D team of more than 30 people. , investing millions every year, and its brand "Beatit" has a certain reputation in the Middle East.

In order to circumvent quota restrictions, some companies adopt an outbound strategy. They may invest in and build factories abroad, cooperate in foreign operations, or acquire brands and sales networks in various ways to avoid trade risks, collect information, and expand market space. Some large enterprises such as Guangdong Textile, Zhejiang Zhongda, Nanjing Textile, Sainty, Haixin and Huayuan have overseas investment projects. Jiangsu Yunbat has set up an office in the United States to reduce trade intermediate links and directly enter the U.S. sales network.

2. The specific measures, experiences and experiences we will take to expand transactions at this fair , peaceful negotiation environment, I will do a lot of preparation work before the meeting and take effective measures.

1. Actively carry out safety and security work in the venue and maintain normal order in the venue.

2. Further focus on the special exhibition of the textile and clothing museum, use the exhibition to promote the brand, and use the brand to promote transactions.

For the exhibition layout of the textile and clothing pavilion of this trade fair, merchants and enterprises generally reported that the level has improved compared with the previous session. The improvement of the level of exhibition arrangement further highlights the brand's image and value, and promotes transactions. For example, booths such as Shanghai Silk, Shanghai Xieda, and Guangdong Silk have exhibition styles that are very consistent with their fashion series. The number of merchants negotiating and the number of transactions are quite good. Companies with good exhibition layout capabilities include Jiangsu Sainty, Jiangsu Soho, Zhejiang Kaisiya, Youngor, Guangdong Sili, Mingrui, etc.

3. Promote the development and launch of new products for enterprises and increase the added value of products.

At this trade fair, new products and new technologies are another highlight of the Textile and Clothing Hall in addition to high-quality fabrics. The new products launched this time have several major features: the product appearance design is more innovative , characteristics; the development of functional and environmentally friendly product fabrics has been further developed, such as nano fabrics, knitted denim, colored silk, new motorcycle clothing, etc., which not only increase the added value of the product, but also break through the green barriers, becoming an attraction for foreign investors. A great magic weapon.

4. Formulate price coordination plans, combat counterfeit and shoddy products, protect intellectual property rights, and ensure good business order.

Before this trade fair, our association formulated a coordination plan for two yarns and two cloths, silk, linen gauze, pattern bleaching cloth, woven clothing, knitted clothing and home textiles, and communicated it through the Canton Fair communication Heliumian magazine has been widely publicized among member companies, requiring exhibitors to comply seriously. No violations of the minimum price and industry guideline price transactions were found at this trade fair.

According to the unified requirements of the conference, our association has formulated measures to protect intellectual property rights in textile and clothing museums and designated a dedicated person to be responsible for this work. All staff of our association regard the inspection of intellectual property rights infringement as an important task during the tour, focusing on the special fabric exhibition area, conducting comprehensive inspections, and when any violation of regulations is discovered, they will clarify the situation in a timely manner and handle it appropriately. At the same time, we will take reports from exhibitors seriously and strictly require exhibitors who violate regulations to remove illegal or infringing displays if the reports are verified to be true. We also maintain regular contact with the provincial and municipal trading groups and conference business offices, and through parties, we enhance communication and collaboration, work together to protect intellectual property rights, and maintain the order of negotiation and transaction.

3. Suggestions to the government authorities and the textile and clothing pavilion of this trade fair

1. In view of the unclear prospects of the U.S. market this year, companies are at a loss as to how to receive orders and are very concerned about the export situation next year. Concerned, businesses hope the government can reach an agreement with the United States as soon as possible.

2. In view of the disorderly growth of exports to the United States this year, resulting in a large number of goods stranded in Hong Kong, companies have called for management of textile exports to the United States next year regardless of whether they reach an agreement with the United States, so as to facilitate orderly exports and prevent Orders are lost.

3. According to reports from enterprises, there are too many clothing and apparel exhibitions around Guangzhou. The Jinhan Clothing Exhibition is right next to the Liuhua Road Exhibition Hall, so that merchants cannot distinguish which is the real Canton Fair. They are not interested in the Canton Fair. This caused an impact and diverted a large number of merchants, affecting the status and influence of the Canton Fair as China's No. 1 exhibition.

4. According to reports from enterprises, the price of hotel accommodation in Guangzhou increased significantly during the Canton Fair. Some merchants found it unacceptable and therefore canceled their plans to participate in the Canton Fair.

5. In terms of the division of exhibition areas, we hope to be more detailed and reflect professionalism. For example, we can establish professional exhibition areas for children's clothing, jeans, underwear, fashion clothing, socks, etc. to facilitate customers' search and in line with the development of international exhibitions. trend and maintain the vitality of the Canton Fair.

6. Due to the restrictions imposed by the United States and Europe on some of our clothing in recent years, the demand for our home textile and fabric products in the international market has increased, and our competitiveness has increased. Home textile and fabric stalls can no longer meet the demand, and it is recommended to increase the number of stalls.

7. It is recommended that when formulating regulations for special exhibition arrangements, the Foreign Trade Center should increase communication with chambers of commerce to better facilitate the continuous improvement of exhibition arrangement work and welcome the arrival of the 100th Canton Fair.

8. In the booth arrangement, there is a phenomenon of emphasizing production over circulation. However, in my country's current foreign trade, expanding trade channels and strengthening sales are still prominent issues. It is recommended that in brand building and Canton Fair exhibition arrangement, attention should be paid to the booth arrangement of well-known foreign trade companies and large-scale circulating foreign trade companies, and equal emphasis should be placed on trademark brands and corporate brands.
