In 2006, "Huangpu Cured Meat" won the title of "National Geographical Indication Protected Product of the People's Republic of China" and "Guangdong Province Famous Trademark". In August 2009, "Huangpu Cured Meat Traditional Making Technique" was included in the "Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage List".
