The lava landforms in China are typically distributed all over the world, with about 2,000 dead volcanoes and more than 500 active volcanoes, mainly distributed in the Pacific Rim volcanic seismic belt and the Mediterranean-Himalayan volcanic seismic belt, as well as the volcanic belt in East Africa.

Because China is located between the first two volcanic earthquake zones, volcanic activity is also frequent, and various types of volcanic lava landscapes have become rich.
