Is the Korean movie Beast good?

The Korean movie Beasts is great.

"Beast" was released in South Korea on June 26, 2019. The story tells the story of detective Han Soo (played by Lee Sung-min) who concealed another murder case in order to obtain clues to catch the brutal murderer. Discovered by his rival detective Mintae (played by Yoo Jae-myung), the two begin a tense and exciting crime suspense battle.

The story begins with two masked men beating up a naked and tattooed strong man. The naked body, the muddy land, the dug corpse pit, the violence, the night, the body, and the lack of progress made the police... The missing girl case that was blamed by the public. From the beginning, it is clear that this is a noir crime film that is full of punches and hidden murderous intent.

Two police team leaders, once good brothers and now competitors, each have opposing forces behind them. Whoever can solve the case of the missing girl will be promoted. The two police officers, both public and private, are bound to fight bloody battles to solve the missing girl case first. ?

Murder, drugs, criminal police, and informants are full of drama, rich in content, and the tense and suspenseful atmosphere is well rendered. The slight drawback is that the director may be too ambitious and pursue excitement and conflict too much. This made the drug case seem a bit rushed, which actually held back the entire film. ?

The two police officers are played by powerful Korean actors, Lee Sung-min and Yoo Jae-myung. Lee Sung Min, the winner of the Best Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards, plays the role of Han Soo, a detective who is willing to cooperate with informants in order to solve the case. Yoo Jae-myung is the actor who plays Salvador's father in "Reply 1988". He plays Min-tae, a policeman who wants to be promoted at all costs. Both are drama actors, and their acting skills are superb and delicate, perfectly interpreting the dark and desperate emotions presented in the film.
