Brand Origin

At the end of the 19th century, when R. Canadier was a child, he moved with the Canadier family from Paris to Lyon, an important town in southeastern France. R.Canadier often played in a neighbor's tailoring shop when he was a child. His childhood exposure made R.Canadier have a strong interest in clothing tailoring design. At the age of 16, he followed a local tailoring designer in Lyon to engage in clothing design and tailoring. At the beginning of the 20th century, in 1918, he had his own clothing store in Lyon; because R. Canadier was very familiar with local clothing consumption trends, the clothing store only accepted customization for mid-to-high-end people and above.
