Jingzhou is a prefecture-level city in Hubei Province, which was called "Jiangling" in ancient times. It is the seat of Ying, the old capital of Chu, not in Shandong. Its central city, Shashi District, was originally a municipality under the jurisdiction of Hubei Province. It was once the second largest city in Hubei and an important textile city, and once had the title of "star city". Its daily chemical product "Vigor 28" was once a well-known trademark, named after news broadcast. Now it is the fourth economic pole, transportation hub and important city in Jianghan Plain in Hubei Province.
