Development history:
According to the research of Taiyuan Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau, "Yiyuanqing" was founded in 1377. It was originally the workshop of the palace of Zhu Jihuan, the fifth son of Zhu Fanshu, the fifth son of King Gong of Jin, who was the grandson of Emperor Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty, when he was King Ninghua in 1410.
As for the origin of the name of the "Yiyuanqing" store, according to the memories of Zhang Yingyu, the last shopkeeper of "Yiyuanqing" before liberation and the vinegar maker, in the early 15th century, there was a narrow small shop in the ancient Bingzhou City. There is a small shop in the alley. The shop owner leads a few boys to make a living by helping people grind flour, make wine, and make vinegar.
In order to make the store prosperous, the owner named the store "Yiyuanqing". "Benefit" means income and profit, "Yuan" means continuous flow, and "Qing" means celebration. The combined meaning is: I hope that the store will have prosperous business and continuous financial resources.
