How to iron a double-sided cashmere coat

1. The lapel collar of men's coats must be ironed firmly, the lapel collars of women's coats should be ironed into a flexible shape, and the front sides of men's coat sleeves must be ironed. Round, the back side should be ironed into a flat shape, and the sleeves of women's coats should be ironed into a round shape at the front and back.

2. When ironing, cover the coat with a layer of wet cloth. The temperature of the iron can be higher. The water droplets on the iron will make a short "plop" sound and no water droplets will remain at the bottom of the iron. It is enough to iron the wet cloth until it is 70% to 80% dry. It should not be too dry, otherwise it will burn the surface and cause aurora. If the aurora has appeared, you can cover it with a damp cloth and iron it gently again. If your home conditions are limited, you can ask a dry cleaner to do it.

3. When ironing the lining, spray water on the lining first and wait half an hour. Hot again. There is no need to spray water on the linings of tussah silk, rayon, brocade silk, and polyester silk, but the temperature of the iron should be lower. It is appropriate to make a "plopping" sound on the water droplets and rolling water droplets at the bottom of the iron. The temperature of brocade silk should be lower. .

4. When ironing the lining of an unwashed coat, do not spray water to prevent water stains. The temperature of the iron should be slightly lower than that of the washed coat, otherwise it will easily turn yellow.

5. When ironing the reverse side of a large collar, the wet cloth should be ironed dry and the collar should not be exposed under the collar.
