What is RCM certification? RCM certification process
RCM (Regulatory Compliance Mark) is a registered mark, which is not mandatory. It means that the supplier declares that the products comply with the safety and other requirements stipulated by the electrical safety laws/regulations of Australia and New Zealand, and also comply with the electromagnetic compatibility requirements stipulated by the Australian Radio Communication Law and the New Zealand Radio Communication Law. Only when the product meets the requirements of both electrical safety regulations and EMC regulations can the RCM mark be used. The owner of the RCM mark is the federal government, and the statutory bodies of electrical safety and EMC all accept the RCM mark as a supplier qualification statement. As long as the supplier is approved to use the RCM logo in any state, the statutory management agencies in other States can accept it, thus realizing the one-time approval of state transportation.

Suppliers need to apply and register before using RCM mark. After registration, suppliers can use the RCM logo on all products that meet the requirements of applicable laws and regulations. If it is found that the products using RCM logo do not meet the requirements of the laws/regulations used, the supplier will impose penalties according to the provisions of the Australian trademark law.
