Verification of trademark information: trademark transfer requires both parties to sign a transfer contract. Before signing the contract, the trademark transferee shall verify the transferred trademark information, such as inquiring whether the trademark has been infringed and whether there are similar trademarks and other information. Trademark assignee can make a comprehensive inquiry about trademark information through China Trademark Network, as shown in the following figure. Contract signed by both parties: Before trademark transfer, the trademark transferor shall sign a trademark transfer contract with the trademark transferee, and the contract shall indicate the details of the transferred trademark and the transfer fee, which shall be signed and sealed by both parties. Submission of trademark transfer materials: After the trademark has been examined and a transfer contract has been signed, the trademark transferor and the trademark transferee shall submit an application for trademark transfer, trademark materials and supporting documents applied for transfer, and a copy of the business license of the trademark transferee to the Trademark Office. PS: If both parties handle trademark transfer through an agency, they need to provide an additional power of attorney for trademark transfer.

Waiting for the approval of the Trademark Office: The Trademark Office will issue a trademark transfer approval within 6-8 months from the date of receiving the trademark transfer application submitted by the trademark transferor and transferee, and the date indicated in the trademark transfer approval is the effective date of trademark transfer.
