What are the duties of corporate counsel lawyers?
Legal analysis: The responsibilities of the company's legal counsel are as follows:

(a) to assist business leaders to correctly implement national laws and regulations, and to put forward legal opinions on major business decisions of enterprises;

(two) to participate in the drafting and review of important rules and regulations of enterprises;

(3) Examining enterprise contracts and participating in the drafting and negotiation of major contracts;

(four) to participate in the merger, division, bankruptcy, investment, leasing, asset transfer, bidding, bidding and other important economic activities of enterprises, to put forward legal opinions and handle relevant legal affairs;

(5) Handling industrial and commercial registration, trademark registration, patent application and other related legal affairs;

(six) entrusted by the legal representative of the enterprise to participate in litigation and non-litigation activities on behalf of the enterprise;

(7) A joint stock limited company listed overseas is appointed as the secretary of the board of directors by the board of directors;

(eight) to carry out legal advice related to the production and operation of enterprises;

(nine) to cooperate with the relevant departments of the enterprise to carry out legal publicity and education for employees;

(10) To be responsible for the selection, liaison and related work of external lawyers of enterprises;

(eleven) to handle other legal affairs assigned by business leaders.

Legal basis: Article 17 of the Interim Provisions on the Qualification System of Enterprise Legal Advisers shall perform the following duties: (1) Assist enterprise leaders to correctly implement national laws and regulations and express legal opinions on major business decisions of enterprises; (two) to participate in the drafting and review of important rules and regulations of enterprises; (3) Examining enterprise contracts and participating in the drafting and negotiation of major contracts; (four) to participate in the merger, division, bankruptcy, investment, leasing, asset transfer, bidding, bidding and other important economic activities of enterprises, to put forward legal opinions and handle relevant legal affairs; (5) Handling industrial and commercial registration, trademark registration, patent application and other related legal affairs; (six) entrusted by the legal representative of the enterprise to participate in litigation and non-litigation activities on behalf of the enterprise; (7) A joint stock limited company listed overseas is appointed as the secretary of the board of directors by the board of directors; (eight) to carry out legal advice related to the production and operation of enterprises; (nine) to cooperate with the relevant departments of the enterprise to carry out legal publicity and education for employees; (10) To be responsible for the selection, liaison and related work of external lawyers of enterprises; (eleven) to handle other legal affairs assigned by business leaders.
