According to the Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Laws in the Trial of Personal Injury Compensation Cases, the compensation items include: medical expenses, follow-up treatment expenses, hospital food subsidies, nutrition expenses, lost time expenses, nursing expenses, death compensation or disability compensation, funeral expenses, spiritual comfort, living expenses of dependents, assistive devices expenses, transportation expenses, appraisal fees, etc.

Among them, compensation shall be made first within the scope of compulsory insurance, and the part beyond compulsory insurance shall be shared according to the accident liability of both parties.
