Tesla has changed its logo

On June 22, the avatars of Tesla’s official Weibo and after-sales Weibo accounts were quietly replaced with new logos. The particularly recognizable T-shaped logo remained unchanged, but the color was changed from the previous one. The red turned to gray.

Tesla CEO Musk once explained on Twitter that the T-shaped logo actually refers to the cross-section of the Tesla motor. Among them, the main part of the letter T represents part of the motor rotor, and The arc above the T represents part of the motor stator.

The trademark of SpaceX, another company owned by Musk, is the same as Tesla’s, using a specially designed “X” to represent the launch trajectory of the rocket. It is reported that the trademarks of Tesla and SpaceX were designed by RO-Studio in New Jersey.

Regarding Tesla’s LOGO changing from red to gray, some netizens commented that it “looks unlucky” and “(Tesla) is discouraged.”

In fact, in the past two months, Tesla has been deeply involved in the whirlpool of public opinion. The "stall gate" and "privacy leak gate" have continued to ferment, causing Tesla's image and reputation to plummet, and then 4 Deliveries in the Chinese market fell sharply in March and May. Among them, in April, only 11,671 vehicles were delivered domestically in April, a 67.1% drop from the previous month; although there was an increase in May, with 21,936 vehicles, it was far less than the 35,478 vehicles in March.

Against this background, the color of the Tesla logo changes from red to gray, which does seem a bit "disheartening". What do you think of this?
