What is the relationship between Quanxing and Shuijingfang?

Shuijingfang was founded by Quanxing Company.

Sichuan Shuijingfang Co., Ltd., formerly known as Sichuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Quanxing Co., Ltd., was established in December 1993 with the approval of Chengdu Structural Reform Commission Chengti Gai (1993) No. 97, a private equity raising company. Ltd.

For Quanxing, on the one hand, it draws on ancient brewing techniques and experience, and on the other hand, it also takes the opportunity to launch a new wine - Shuijingfang. Leveraging on the reputation of this ancient brewery, Shuijingfang Liquor has been selling well once it was launched. Quanxing also took advantage of the situation and changed the name of "Quanxing Shares" listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange to "Shuijingfang".

Enterprise background

As for the Quanxing Group, it not only owned 39.71% of the equity of Shuijingfang at that time, but was also the owner of the "Quanxing Daqu" liquor. Therefore, Quanxing Group split the two wine brands. As for Diageo, it avoided the regulations and turned to controlling Shuijingfang.

Until 2011, Shanghai Sugar, Tobacco and Liquor Co., Ltd. occupied 67% of Quanxing Group’s equity. Therefore, they have relative rights to use "Quanxing Daqu", and Shuijingfang and Quanxing Daqu have also gone in two different directions. Shuijingfang has become a foreign investment and is going high-end, while Quanxing Daqu is still active in the domestic mid-range market.
