south Korea's trademark law was promulgated on November 28th, 1949, and the principle of prior application is adopted to register Korean trademarks. at the same time, south Korea is a member of the Paris convention for the protection of industrial property and the World Intellectual Property Organization, and is also a member of the Agreement on Trade-related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (Trips) and the Madrid Agreement.
