Xiamen botanical garden
Xiamen Garden Botanical Garden, commonly known as Shiwan Botanical Garden, is located in Shiwan in the southeast corner of Xiamen Island, backed by Nanputuo, Wulaofeng, and adjacent to Zhongshan Road business circle. Covering an area of 4.93 square kilometers, it is the only botanical garden built in the center of China. Founded in 1960, it is the first batch of AAAA tourist areas (spots) in China and an important part of Gulangyu-Shiwan national key scenic spot.
Garden and Botanical Garden has introduced and cultivated more than 7,500 kinds of protected plants from all over the world, and built 14 characteristic parks, such as Palm Island, succulent area, pine garden, ginger garden, flower garden and rainforest world. It is China National Palm Plant Protection Center and China Biodiversity Protection Demonstration Base. It has the largest outdoor succulent plant exhibition area in China and is known as the green museum.
Jiageng theatre
Jiageng Theatre is located in Xiamen Jiageng Art Center, the core area of Jimei New Town. Located in jimei district Citizen Square, adjacent to jimei district Administrative Service Center and the entrance and exit of Guanren Station of xiamen metro 1 Line. It covers an area of 29,456.90 square meters with a total construction area of 63,027.52 square meters. There are six floors above ground and one underground, with a total height of 37 meters. The center is designed in modern Jiageng architectural style.
