Daoxiang Village (Suzhou) originated in 1773, 247 years ago. At that time, it was called "Suzhou Daoxiang Village Tea and Restaurant". When Emperor Qianlong went to the south of the Yangtze River and tasted Daoxiangcun pastries in Suzhou, he praised it as "an excellent food and a rare delicacy" and inscribed a plaque on it, making it famous all over the world. Daoxiang Village adheres to the "craftsman spirit" in its products, and traditional handicraft skills are passed down from generation to generation through the method of "master leading apprentice". It has been passed down to the sixth generation since its inception.

Daoxiangcun (Suzhou) has developed from an old store on Guanqian Street in Suzhou in the early days to now having ten modern food production and processing centers across the country, as well as many in Shandong, Jiangsu, Yunnan, Inner Mongolia and other places.
