Quality requirements for food labels

1

The food label "should not be separated from food or its packaging (container)" means that all the contents of the food label must be attached or combined and firmly pasted, printed, die-printed or imprinted on the packaging or packaging container. However, labels or descriptions that explain product characteristics, product characteristics, eating methods, etc., such as wine origin labels, condiment manuals, and recommended usage instructions of vegetable oil, can be separated from food.

The normative requirements of labels

2

Food labels "shall be true and accurate, and shall not introduce food by false, exaggerated, misleading or deceptive words and figures, or mislead consumers by using the size or color difference of words". "Misleading consumers by using text size or color difference" means that the contents of food labels are consumers' wrong associations with the real attributes of food, and the font size and graphics are changed due to the adoption of heat shrinkable film packaging, which is not the case.

Requirements for the use of characters in labels (1)

3

Food labels "can use pinyin and minority characters at the same time, and the pinyin shall not be larger than the corresponding Chinese characters". Among them, "Pinyin" refers to Chinese Pinyin, and minority languages refer to Mongolian, Tibetan and Manchu languages. Pinyin must be used at the same time as Chinese characters and must not be larger than the corresponding Chinese characters; Minority languages must be used at the same time as Chinese characters, but there is no requirement for size. The spelling of Chinese Pinyin should follow the Chinese Pinyin Scheme.
