The business license generally shows the name of the legal person, and the legal person needs to bear certain legal responsibilities. Whoever's name is written on the business license does not necessarily own the company's property, but he is the first person responsible for the company. The business license of a self-employed person can only contain the name of one person. If it is a registered company, the business license can only contain one legal person, but there can be multiple shareholders.

The business license registration items include: name, address, person in charge, amount of funds, economic composition, business scope, business method, number of employees, business period, etc. The business license is divided into original and duplicate, both of which have the same legal effect. The original copy shall be placed in a conspicuous place at the company's residence or business premises, and the business license shall not be forged, altered, rented, lent or transferred. Industrial and commercial enterprises or self-employed individuals without a business license are not allowed to open their business. They are not allowed to engrave official seals, sign contracts, register trademarks, or publish advertisements. They are not allowed to open bank accounts.

Legal basis

Article 7 of the "Company Law of the People's Republic of China"

A company established in accordance with the law shall be issued a business license by the company registration authority license. The date of issue of the company's business license is the date of establishment of the company.

The company's business license shall state the company's name, address, registered capital, business scope, name of the legal representative, and other matters.

If the matters recorded in the company's business license change, the company shall handle the change registration in accordance with the law, and the company registration authority shall renew the business license.

Article 3. If you apply for enterprise legal person registration and are approved by the enterprise legal person registration authority after review, you will receive "Enterprise Legal Person Business License", obtains legal person status, and its legal rights and interests are protected by national laws.

If it is necessary to register an enterprise as a legal person according to law, no business activities shall be conducted without the approval and registration of the enterprise legal person registration authority.

Article 26 Anyone who engages in business activities in the name of a partnership without the legal approval of registration by the enterprise registration authority and the receipt of a business license shall be ordered by the enterprise registration authority to cease business activities and may be fined not more than 5,000 yuan. If business activities are conducted in the name of a partnership, these Regulations shall apply.
