Baofeng Village is located at the east gate of Pinghe County, at the junction of Nanjing. It reaches Wenfeng Town in the east; Pingzhai Village in the west; Sanmei Village in the south; Nanjing County in the north. Guanjiu Line and Shenhai Expressway pass through Cunwei. Baofeng Village has 11 natural villages under its jurisdiction. The natural villages are: Xibian University, Taqian, Chaoyang, Sanluo, Yangli, Gongzaiqian, Diankeng, Shigui, Yangweishan and Xizhou. At the end of 2011, the village had a population of 5,168. Baofeng villagers' main income is from growing fruits and vegetables, and they own the "Baofeng" China geographically protected trademark.
