2. Switzerland accepts applications for registration of commodity trademarks, service trademarks, collective trademarks or guarantee trademarks.

3. Switzerland adopts the Nice Agreement.

4. Switzerland is a member of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, the madrid agreement concerning the international registration of marks, the Madrid Protocol on International Registration of Trademarks, the International Nice Agreement on Registered Goods and Services, the Trademark Law Treaty and the World Intellectual Property Organization.
