5. Question: What are the registration procedures?

Answer: When registering, you should present your valid ID, work certificate (original), academic certificate (original), submit three recent one-inch bareheaded photos, and fill in the registration form in duplicate as required. Register at the test registration location in the city where the test center is located.

Applicants can also submit registration forms in duplicate, as well as copies of valid identity documents, work certificates, academic certificates, and photos, by mail to the examination leading group at the location of the test site. Those who apply by letter should send their registration materials before the registration deadline. If submitted after the deadline, the registration will be invalid. Those who report by letter should bring their valid identity documents, original copies of work certificates, academic certificates and admission tickets to the test center city for inspection the day before the test.

Those who register to participate in the 2004 National Patent Agent Qualification Examination shall also pay an examination registration fee of RMB 30 jointly set by the State Intellectual Property Office and the Ministry of Finance when registering.
