Last year on Double Eleven, I bought a brushed quilt from the official flagship store of Luolai Home Textiles in Tmall Mall, and it shed a lot of hair.

Although I requested a positive answer from Aliwangwang’s customer service before purchasing, stating that lint and pilling would not be considered, I was deceived by customer service. All products have been tested by the quality inspection department. There may be slight pilling due to severe friction. . (Now after checking the conversation record, I realized that it was all a word game. First, it did not mention the hair loss experiment but secretly replaced it with the hair raising experiment. Second, it did not say whether the test results were qualified. Third, it did not answer directly whether it was hair loss or not.)

Out of habit, I clearly stated in the remarks column of the order that it must not shed or pill (usually, Taobao merchants whose products do not meet the remarks requirements will take the initiative to communicate with customers and explain, but this one did not).

Although I asked many times and was reminded that lint-shedding products are not acceptable, the seller lied from beginning to end and gave no warning at all about lint-shedding products.

Considering that it was a big brand, I was not in a hurry to check the quality. Because I don't use it very much, I washed it twice and the lint was very serious. Every time I changed the quilt, it fell all over the floor. Considering the merchant's promise that the product had been tested by the quality inspection department, I didn't pay much attention to it.

On May 14th, I cleaned the air conditioner and discovered the seriousness of the problem. Only the air conditioner cover in the room with this set of quilts had gray velvet popping off as soon as I opened it, which was more than the other room air conditioners put together. This shows that not only did the hair fall to the ground, but a lot of it was floating in the air. Can it not be inhaled into the lungs? !

I wanted to apply for a return and refund (I haven’t gone for a physical examination to ask for compensation yet, and it is relatively difficult to obtain evidence of lung damage), but I found that the appeal time limit has exceeded, and the original product link has been deleted by the online merchant (the merchant’s website has been deleted) cannot be queried). Fortunately, the deletion was not complete. Through my shopping records, I was able to find out that at least three friends who had bought the same product had commented on the severe hair loss after washing it, and there were screenshots to prove it (not an individual case).

I found the e-commerce customer service, and then I learned that the hair would start to fall off and I needed to wash it a few more times. When pressed, he did not answer the question of how many times to wash to prevent hair loss. Once I was told that it would shed hair, there was no way I would buy it!

After I provided evidence of past records and stated that the other party had committed fraud, the e-commerce company avoided answering the fraud question and only replied that the more times it was washed, the less hair would fall off.

I contacted Taobao customer service and asked them to communicate with me. If the store cannot solve the problem, Tmall, as a shopping platform, should bear joint and several liability. At present, Tmall customer service said that it has recorded my feedback, but said that the three-guarantee period has passed, and it is basically impossible to make a claim.

My attitude is that if I cannot get a satisfactory answer, the store will be blacklisted.
