Trademark corrections generally include the following situations:
(1) The names of the goods/services reported are not standardized and specific;
(2) Fill in the corresponding position printed on the "Notice of Supplement and Correction of Trademark Registration Application" with a printer.
(2) If the goods or services need to be deleted, the words "agree to delete" should be marked to confirm the deletion.
(3) The corrected goods or services shall be limited to the corresponding scope of the original goods or services requiring correction, and shall not be arbitrarily changed or added.
(4) The revised goods or services should correspond one-to-one with the goods or services before the revision to facilitate the continuation of the review work.
(5) If there is a lot of correction content that cannot be written on the correction notice, you can directly add an attachment (A4 paper), and indicate "There is an attachment" or "See attachment" in the correction column. "The words are more secure.
(6) If a blank correction notice is returned, the Trademark Office will regard the applicant or agent as giving up the project.
(7) The agency seal and stamp should be uniformly located on the lower right side of the supplemented and corrected content, and the seal and stamp must not cover the supplemented and corrected content.
Last point, materials must be submitted within the specified deadline. The official will issue a "Notice of Supplement and Correction of Trademark Registration Application", which requires the applicant to make corrections and return them according to the specified content within 30 days from the date of receipt of the notice. If the application is corrected and returned within the prescribed time limit, the application date will be retained; if the application is not corrected within the time limit or is not made as required, the application will not be accepted.
