Beishan is rich in specialty products such as Aralia lily, garlic, new ginger, and rare fruits. In 2005, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine awarded Longhui Aralia Lily the title of "Protected Product of Origin"; in 2008, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce awarded Longhui Aralia Lily the "Chinese Geographical Indication Certification Trademark". In 2010, it was rated as the national honeysuckle, dragon tooth and lily specialty industry capital by five authoritative organizations.
