Formation of a "dual-track" administrative and judicial protection pattern
The best business environment required for Shenzhen's innovation depends on Shenzhen's implementation of the strictest intellectual property protection.
At the end of last year, during daily law enforcement inspections, the Municipal Intellectual Property Office discovered and destroyed a counterfeiting den, and seized 31,919 power adapters counterfeiting registered trademarks of Huawei, Samsung, and Lenovo, etc., with the "oppo" trademark printed on them. A total of 115,530 pieces of labeled power adapter labels and packaging boxes were handed over to the public security organs for processing earlier this year. This type of case is a typical case for the Municipal Intellectual Property Office to strengthen trademark protection, which is conducive to safeguarding the legitimate interests of enterprises and promoting the development of high-tech industries.
On April 26, the Economic Investigation Bureau of the Municipal Public Security Bureau completed the closing operation of the Ministry of Public Security's "Yunque" operation and detected a cross-border counterfeit drug cluster case. Public security law enforcement officers successfully seized a Dongguan Mercedes-Benz car on Dongbin Road in Nanshan District, arrested three suspects, and seized counterfeit OSICENT anti-cancer drug on site. Two criminal suspects were arrested at the Shenzhen Bay Port, and a batch of counterfeit OPDIVO and other anti-cancer drugs were seized on site. At the same time, the Economic Investigation Bureau reported to the Economic Investigation Bureau of the Provincial Public Security Department that the provincial department organized the Dongguan Municipal Bureau to destroy a factory producing counterfeit drugs in Houjie Town, Dongguan, arrested a criminal suspect, and seized a batch of counterfeit OSICENT anti-cancer drugs. In this case, the Economic Investigation Bureau of the Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Nanshan Public Security Bureau collaborated with multiple police departments to successfully complete the deployment and application task of the Ministry of Public Security’s cloud action system.
