The trademark designed by the applicant must be searched and queried to prevent the same or similar situations and avoid trademark infringement. Under normal circumstances, the results can be obtained in about a week.
2. If the trademark search is legal and compliant, the applicant can register the relevant category in accordance with relevant regulations.
3. After receiving the application, the Philippine Trademark Office must conduct a substantive inspection. If the review does not meet the requirements, the trademark will be rejected. If the applicant has objections, he or she can appeal to the Philippine courts.
4. The applicant must submit instructions for use of the trademark, and the instructions must be notarized.
5. After review, if the trademark is compliant, it will be published by the Philippine Trademark Office for an announcement period. Anyone can apply during the announcement period, and the applicant must respond within the specified time.
6. If there is no objection during the announcement period, a trademark registration certificate will be issued.
