4. Sun Island Cigarettes: In 1902, the "Sun Island" cigarette factory was officially established, formerly known as "Lao Baduo and Son Tobacco Co., Ltd." The founder of "Lao Ba Duo" was a Polish Jew. He came to China to do business following the Czarist Russia's invasion of China and the construction of the Middle East Railway.
