If the Buddha statue has hands, feet and head * * * and seven eyes, it should be White Tara. If there are only two eyes, it is probably the Green Tara. Both Green Tara and White Tara are merciful manifestations of avalokitesvara. Avalokitesvara saw that boundless beings were suffering from life and death, but she was still puzzled. For a moment, sadness came from it, and her eyes burst into tears. The tears in her right eye turned into green Tara, while those in her left eye turned into White Tara, in order to enrich all beings.

The method of Green Tara is a head with two arms, each holding a lotus flower and a knot, and its body is jade blue, slender and solemn. Her feet extend downward, which means that she is ready to save all beings. Her right hand is placed on her right knee, and her palm is outward, which is a wish to seal and hold the lotus flower, which is the will to give the lotus flower to the world.

Holding a blooming lotus in the left hand, there are two more lotus flowers on the lotus, one is unopened and the other is half-opened, which means that the future, the present and the past three lives are all following the vows of Buddhism. Green rescues Tara, wearing a small five-Buddha crown on her head, decorated with jewels, and her body radiates rainbow light.

White Tara Bodhisattva, the embodiment of Guanyin Bodhisattva's compassion, is one of the twenty-one holy salvation mothers, also known as the longevity-increasing salvation mother. Together with the infinite longevity Buddha and the Buddha's top, it is called the "three longevity statues". In White Tara's face, hands and feet have seven eyes, so it is also called the "seven-eyed Buddha Mother".

With the eyes on the forehead, the Bodhisattva can see the boundless Buddha land in ten directions, and there is no obstacle in the empty world. The other six eyes can see the six sentient beings, and anyone who is seen by the Bodhisattva will be freed.

Practising the White Tara method can eliminate the disasters caused by diseases, prolong life and happiness, cut off the root of samsara, and avoid the Eight Difficulties, evil influence, plague, illness, etc., and everything you ask for will come true.
